Welcome to ThreeFrenchHens!
* Quilts * Comforts * All Things Lovely *

I sew, collect, embroider, quilt, cook, and craft! I am the only daughter of an only daughter of an only daughter - going back seven generations. And every one of them was a craftswoman; every one, a collector.

An antique collector and a quilter and a paper-smith - my interests are wonderfully diverse!

When the fabric bug bites me, I create beautiful miniature and sampler quilts, classic handkerchiefs, purses, totes, sachets, and bags in beautiful reproduction and designer fabrics - you will find these in my this shop - Three French Hens! This where I pursue that ever elusive Perfect Seam!

For those times when I am not out estate sale antique/vintage hunting, sewing, or quilting, I adore playing and creating with my fantastic collection of antique and vintage papers, prints, and designs. I draw creative inspiration from a tremendous collection of original Victorian, Edwardian, Georgian and Regency engravings, prints, and chromolithographs as well as from a glorious *stack* of quilts and embroidery dating to the turn of the last century left to me by my mother and grandmother.

Everything is created, packed, and shipped from my smokeless, pet-friendly home here along the beautiful Jersey Shore!
